Step 2

Domestic Energy Assessor Visit

We will arrange a FREE survey by one of our qualified and certified Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) surveyors, this will consist of a 10-15 minute inspection of your home’s energy efficiency measures, home survey visits are designed to be minimally intrusive.

Step 3

Installation Works

Once we have identified the measures that can be implemented, we will arrange for the installation works to be carried out with your approval and coordinate the works to maximise the convenience. On average, most works are completed in less than 3 days.

Energy bills rose 66.7% in the 12 months to March 2023. This unprecedented rise in heating bills impact those families with the lowest incomes more than any others. Coupled with these rising energy price rises is the fact that many homes are poorly insulated, both in lofts and cavities, with old inefficient boilers. Poor insulation and old boilers mean families are living in poor quality housing. Many families in the UK are being forced to live in damp, cold conditions, or: face the threat of financially crippling energy bills.

Who can qualify for ECO4 grants?

If you own or rent a property and receive specific income-related benefits, you may qualify for 100% free home energy improvements.

What is the Government’s FREE energy improvement scheme all about?

Launched in 2013 by the Government, the Energy Company Obligation fund is now in its fourth stage of investment, ECO4, having already delivered 3.1 million improvements to UK homes. This a key element of the Government’s Sustainable Warmth Strategy to deliver its goal to achieve net zero by 2050. ECO4 is set up to allow low-income households, as well as households who receive certain state benefits, to receive free heating upgrades. You may also be entitled to free home improvements such as loft and cavity insulation as well as Solar Panel installation.

ECO4 Scheme Funding aims to improves homes energy efficiency, reducing family’s energy bills. The energy performance certificate (EPC) measures home energy efficiency. ECO4 aims to improve in-efficient homes to make them more efficient, homes with EPC’s of F & G need to improve to a D rating while homes with a D & E rating need to become C rated.
